Juan Cristobal Losada who goes by the artistic name, “Mr.Sonic” is a composer, producer and sound engineer, winner of multiple Grammy® and Latin Grammy® awards. In 2018 he was named Governor for the New York chapter of the Grammy® (National Academy of the Recording Arts and Sciences), and Latin Ambassador of the same organization in 2019. He is the founder of the prestigious recording studios The Sonic Room @peermusic-NYC, located at the iconic Carnegie Hall Tower, and the record label Sonic Projects Records, distributed by Sony Music/The Orchard.
An expert on emerging musical trends, Losada also actively develops a role in education, as professor of Music Technology and Producer in Residence for the Music Business program at New York University (NYU), where he develops innovative music production techniques and music business strategies for new generations.
He has received over 25 combined nominations from LARAS and NARAS, and has participated on nearly a dozen Platinum and Gold RIAA certified albums for both Latin and US markets, showing his skill and versatility to work in a great variety of musical styles.
