Pitch Quantize with Octavox

February 19, 2016 - 09:52 am

Glad to see Octavox as a single Plugin.

Is it possible to create a similar preset to #239 Pitch Quantize in Octavox?

If yes, could you give the settings?

Hi Teacue-

Hi Teacue-

Unfortunately, it isn't possible to create a preset like this in Octavox - this wasn't an intended use for the plug-in. Octavox only shifts diatonically, and doesn't do adaptive pitch correction in this way.

Best,

Tom

Thanks for your answer.

The preset "Pitch Quantize" was built upon the algorithm "Diatonic Shift".

Is there or will be any Plugin based on this algorithm?

Hi teacue-

Ah correct, it was in fact based on Diatonic Shift. I believe that preset worked by setting both an interval amount and a cents amount. We could potentially implement this feature in Octavox in the future, though I can't make any promises at this time, as we are swamped with a number of different projects.

Best,

Tom
