Reverb 2016 (rack unit) - Issue with MIDI CC Program Change

Got a brand new Reverb 2016 (hardware unit, not plugin). When changing a program via MIDI CC the parameters of the program are loaded but the numerical display stays the same (?!). For example if I manually dial program 30, but then via MIDI I select program 15, the parameters of program 15 are loaded but the numerical display stills shows 30 (?!). Is this normal? Any advice would be appreciated!!
