Thanks. Needless to say, this problem is unknown to us.
The Error from WDM operation mode may be a clue.
Probably first thing to try would be to disconnect the FireWire, uninstall the drivers (Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs), power cycle the PC and then re-install before re-connecting the FireWire..
Trying a different FireWire card might be helpful.
Disconnect any other FireWire devices.
If the above doesn't do it, conect Customer Support by email with attached screen captures of all the Dice Control Panel screens, and we'll take it from there.
