Configuring an H9 to work with an aux switch is a bit different than configuring it to work with an expression pedal. You need to make sure that it's pedal jack is configured to expect an aux switch. You do this in H9 Control by going to the Pedal screen, to General Settings, and setting the 'Use Expression Pedal, Aux Switch, or Both' to Aux Switch. And then the actual aux switch mappings are under Pedal Settings / Aux Switch Mappings.
