how is it possible that my H9 max, without ever having made any level I/O setting/adjustment (instrument/line/levels) works – by itself – at an optimal signal level in the effects loop of the Jcm 2000, and with H90 I have these problems??
The H9 was designed to work mainly with instrument levels. It’s possible the amp loop level knob was set low from the beginning and you didn’t notice it. It may be the case if you set the H90 to instrument level instead of line level, you won’t have any volume disparity. Regardless, between the loop level and operating levels of the H90, you have everything you need to adjust things perfectly.
