Sorry for the issues your having. You want the “input kill” setting for the tails to ring out when your bypass the Rose.
I’d suggest using the EDM app to adjust these settings. That has a pretty simple interface for adjusting all of the settings, and once you have it set how you like you don’t need to revisit the app. Just make sure to click the arrow in the top right corner to send the settings change to the device.
