I fully agree with you on this. I appreciate Eventide creating this upgrade, but I feel the announcement and launch should have come with published information/specs. Can anyone at Eventide give us a time frame for when they will release detailed information? I think this will foster more trust. Is the reason for the vague information an upcoming Emote update? Telling someone to “spent $1000 now and we’ll tell you what you’re getting when we get around to it” taints the customer experience. I am happy to purchase the upgrade for my H9K, but won’t do so without solid information.
