I would place the H90 before the Opus (with Instrument level or put it in the insert… With the insert you have more flexibility deciding where to put it in the chain. Putting it behind the H 90 on the other hand provides you with a usage of the XLR output. Of course there are no rules đŸ˜‰
Ya I get that totally and I’ve been back and forth with that re the usage of the XLR outs. The issue is, some of my Opus presets are mid to higher gain which lends itself to delays and reverb after.
If I weren’t such an Opus fanboy, I’d just make a cleanish preset and do what you suggested. Lol.
