Shame. Thanks for answering! The device is built well and laid out nicely (telco-equipment vibes), shame there is no service manual available. Ghe tech notes I found online saved me!
I actually was able to use the (5) button on boot to diagnose that DSP0 didn’t work (big square left chip) + neither did its SRAM. DSP1 does work with its own SRAM + its DRAM is fine. I desoldered the DSP0 and the device booted up! Obviously it doesn’t work right with 1 DSP, but a replacement was like $30, ordered immediately. Hopefully that’ll fix it.
