PS101 Instant Phaser Support

Yes and no. Instant Phaser Mk II will allow you to load presets from the PS101 Instant Phaser plugin, and vice versa. The common parameters will load up and display the same values on both plugins, but the scaling of the Oscillator knobs are both different and will not produce the same effect. The Instant Phaser Mk II allows the Oscillator rate to go up to 20 Hz, whereas the old plugin's max rate was 10 Hz. Additionally there are new features that have no translation to or from the old PS101 Instant Phaser plugin.

No. Both plugins can coexist in your DAW. The Instant Phaser Mk II installers will not remove the PS101 Instant Phaser from your installed files, and will not replace any instances of PS101 Instant Phaser currently in any of your sessions.

No. The Instant Phaser Mk II files have been included all current bundle installers to replace the PS101 Instant Phaser plugin. If you own Anthology X, Anthology XI, or the Ensemble Subscription, you can still use the PS101 Instant Phaser plugin alongside the Instant Phaser Mk II plugin.

The Instant Phaser Mk II boasts several new features, and a brand-new, veritably more faithful emulation of the original Instant Phaser hardware. Additional controls that have been included in the Instant Phaser Mk II are mostly located in the "EX1" expansion panel section on the UI and are as follows:

- Mode switch to change the amount of phase-shifting

- Age knob introduces an analog component-drift feature

- Oscillator can now be Synced to the session tempo

- Oscillator also has an automatable Retrigger switch to reset the LFO even while in Hz (free-running)

- Envelope Follower can now be Side Chained

- Feedback control

- Standard Input and Output Gain

- "Always show values" feature via the gear icon

- Bypass switches accessible via the left and right sides of the plugin
