Pendulate download button gives wrong file

Forums

Hey, saw an article about the Pendulate giveaway, and rushed over to grab it. I tried to download the Windows installer, but I think the download points to the wrong file on the server. What I got is the user manual with an exe extension. It didn't run, but when I looked at it in Notepad++, I saw a PDF header. Then, when I saw the user manual elsewhere on the site, I downloaded it and realized both the manual and the exe were the same size. The download for Mac seems to work.

Latest plugin updates for Windows still wrong

Forums

The Windows plugin installers still do not remember the last location of installation!

This is a major pain for any of your customers who own a number of your plugins.
I own 11 of your native plugins which means I have to redirect 22 locations (for both 32 & 64 bit) to my preferred location everytime I update your plugins!

As a programmer I know how easy this is to fix - you just have the installer store the install location in the Windows registry on installing and the next time the run one of the installer reload that information.

PLEASE fix this.

VST installers should 'remember' the location used to install the plugins

Forums

VST installers should 'remember' the location used to install the plugins.

So when updating or reinstalling that the default location for the installation of the VST is in the previous location.

This is easy to do, numerous other plugin installers do it and I've done it for the programs I've created. For Windows installers - one way is to store the location in the system Registry.

As someone who owns a fair number of your plugins having to change the both the 32 & 64 bit locations for every plugin I'm updating is a pain.
