Unfortunately, Band Delays does not load on OSX 10.6.8. The graphics are rendered in Open GL, and for some reason when we build it on a newer OS it does crash on 10.6. Is there any particular reason you're still on 10.6? I know it was a very stable OS, but 10.9 and 10.10 are as well. You might consider an upgrade.
