Electronics Bench Technician

Eventide Inc, located in Little Ferry, NJ is seeking an Electronics Bench Technician to play a key role in supporting production of our world-class audio processors and guitar pedals by assembling and packaging products, performing quality checks using test equipment, and performing product repairs. This position requires strong assembly and technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage time while working independently.

Key responsibilities:

  • Interpret technical documentation to assemble and test various products from chassis level to finished product
  • Package and fulfill orders by gathering all required components and preparing for shipping
  • Troubleshoot component and finished product failures using test equipment
  • Perform product repairs as well as production hardware modifications
  • Effectively manage time to complete tasks efficiently
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams

Qualifications:

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
  • Strong proficiency with computers and general technology.
  • Strong fine pitch soldering skills.
  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret electronic schematics and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with test equipment, handheld tools or professional audio equipment is a plus.

Electro-Mechanical Assembler & Tester – Intel-Based Server Systems

Eventide is seeking a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Assembler to support the assembly and testing of Intel-based server systems. This role involves hardware assembly, software installation, system testing, and custom configurations. We welcome candidates who are self-taught, hobbyists, or have real-world experience—no formal degree required. If you’re passionate about computers, take pride in your work, and enjoy solving technical challenges, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble server chassis, install motherboards, CPUs, and other hardware components
  • Configure BIOS settings and install operating systems
  • Perform functional testing of hard drives, memory, and network interfaces
  • Execute detailed testing procedures and customize builds based on customer requirements
  • Follow technical instructions in written, verbal, and diagram form
  • Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality and consistency
  • Observe proper handling of components and comply with ESD (electrostatic discharge) protocols
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

What We’re Looking For:

  • Practical experience in electro-mechanical assembly or similar technical work (formal education not required)
  • Strong familiarity with computer hardware and software, whether from professional work, hobbyist projects, or self-teaching
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools, and test equipment (e.g., screwdrivers, drills, calipers, ohmmeters)
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); knowledge of ERP/CRM systems is a plus

Procurement & Inventory Specialist

Eventide Inc, located in Little Ferry, NJ is seeking a full-time Procurement & Inventory Specialist. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, open to learning new systems and processes. You are a team player with a positive attitude, able to collaborate across departments. This role involves equal parts computer work and physical work. You will be responsible for purchasing, receiving, storing, moving, and handling material such as electronic components, printed circuit boards, packing materials, and metalwork.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Review and place POs, place production Work Order using ERP system.
  • Unload materials from pallets, racks, and shelves by hand
  • Plan purchases based on lead time, maintain safety stock and Cost of Goods on hand.
  • Receive materials (serialized and not serialized) in ERP system
  • Coordinate with Production to determine supply needs and monitor inventory to avoid stock outs.
  • Perform cycle count and maintain inventory accuracy in ERP system
  • Count, sort, weigh incoming articles to verify receipt of items on purchase orders
  • File receiving documentation to assist Finance and Accounting
  • Organize materials in the warehouse to optimize space (should be able to move around pallets)
  • Prepare kits for Contract Manufacturers and Production including packing and labeling components

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Must have knowledge of Inventory Management System, Warehouse Management System or ERP
  • Knowledge of RFQs, PO, Safety Stock, Lead Time, BOL, BOM
  • Working knowledge of Material Handling issues
  • Ability to routinely lift products/packages weighing 50 pounds
  • Knowledge of MS Excel and Inventory Management certification is a plus
  • Proficient in basic math for accurate inventory counts and reconciliations.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least two years related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.

Must be able to move loaded pallets (necessary equipment and training will be provided)
