Hey there,
New to the forum, just got the TimeFactor stompbox, but I can't get it to work right out of the box. No effect signal from the unit, just pure guitar signal passed thru to the amp as if the unit were bypassed.
When I press the Active/Bypass switch, nothing happens; and the LED above the switch to indicate the unit is active does NOT turn on.
When I first power up, you can hear a little click, as if the bypass relay is engaging, but I don't get any effect mixed in with the guitar signal.
I tried going into System Mode to change the type of bypass; but it is stuck on [DSP]:
When I select either [Relay] or [DSP+FX], the change does not stick–when I go back into system and look at the bypass mode, it still comes up as [DSP].I searched the Forum and found multiple hits with the same problem, but none of those pages will open up – the web page says there is an error. Using FireFox on a Mac.
Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi dvinson, I'm sorry for your troubles! You may exchange your stompbox to the store from which it was purchased, or contact support@eventide.com for a Return Authorization #.

Thanks for getting back to me. Eventide will pick up the postage, right? Since it was broke right out of the box, and this appears to be a common problem (note all the forum posts for the same issue).
