Hi,

Turns out this is behavior is a result of Ableton Preferences that need to be set on your machine. 

For each instance of Ableton you need to go to the corresponding Preferences folder and add a file called Options.txt. Inside, copy the following statement:

"-_EnsureKeyMessagesForPlugins"

When you restart Ableton the problem should be fixed.
