        I have my guitar tuned to drop G# – yes I know it’s absurdly low!

        Anyway, when I try any of the synth algorithms, they sound great when I stay high up on the neck, but playing the very lowest 3-5 notes causes unpleasant glitching.  I just want to know if there’s anything that can be done to alleviate this, or if I’m literally outside the recommended ranges.

          If you have your Source Type set to “guitar” you may want to change it to “Bass”.  The primary function is to tune pitch-shifters and synths to work better at different frequencies.  See https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h90/1.5.2/content/system-menu/global.html .
