        Is it possible to connect 2 preamps in the 2 inserts without problems? For example a fender style preamp, for clean into insert-1 , and a marshall (jmp1) or mesa (triaxis) style preamp in insert-2 and send the output to a power amp? maybe even stereo. You would have tremendous routing flexibility.

            great, the input / output of the insert set to line or instrument level?

              Anything directed to the front of an amp should be instrument level. Signal connected to an effects loop should be set to line level.
