Hi everyone,
My H90 is flashing on and off. I tried to update the firmware version to v1.9.7 (from v.1.8.6) but it did not work. I updated the H90 control update to v.1.8.16.
The H90 won’t update in recovery mode. I tried to factory reset it, but it did nothing.
It still starts up in recovery mode, and have tried to update it four/five times now… I emailed support and am awaiting their reply.
Just wondering if anyone knows a solution. Has anyone experienced this before?
I turned it off and turned it back on and it is just flashing on and off, on and off with just the “Eventide” on the screen flashing on and off, on and off, on and off ad infinitum (see video below). I hope it is not just an expensive xmas decoration now and has not become a brick… (I do not find this funny).
Help, please! Please help!!

I am not sure if someone at Eventide did something behind the scenes but I tried again and it is working now.
I have no idea why or how!?
Can you please let me know if you did something (if you’re reading this Eventide Support)? Thanks!
I am relieved to say that it seems to be working now and has updated to v.1.9.7
Please let me know if you changed anything from your end anyway, so I can consider what to do in future updates (whether to not update again or not). A bit wary of updating in future… eep.
Anyway, grateful to be able to get back into it, and quite relieved..

Hi there,
Sorry for the issues you’ve been having. There is nothing we’ve done on our end that would relate to what you describe.
Glad to hear that you were able to resolve this. If you experience anything similar, please email support@eventideaudio.com with a video that show the issue and we can help you further there.
