Hello, before buying an H90, I’d like to know if it’s possible to get the following signal using the different input/outputs (I specify that I no longer use an amp but a preamp pedal + power amp pedal or DAW). Basically, I’d like to keep my analog fuzz, od and preamp pedals and introduce some h90 effects before or after.
Here is the desired signal, guitar – tuner – volume pedal – (H90 mono effects ex: octaver – wah – some modulation) – fuzz – overdrive – preamp – (H90 stereo effects ex: delai reverbes etc) – strymon volante -> out. Thanks for your help.

Yes, that is possible. You can use Dual Mode and have 1 path be mono and the other path be stereo. https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h90/1.7.5/content/edit-modes/routing.html#dual-routing

In fact, as I continued my research I realized that if I put my drives in insert 1 and my preamp pedal in insert 2, and thus be able to insert H90 effects before after etc., I would not be able to use drives or preamp if the H90 was bypassed (which is very annoying given that my preamp pedal represents my amp and that sometimes I will use my Volante as a reverb and delay output from the H90). Is there a way around this? I also have a Morning Star MC6 Pro to control all this.

Inserts can be used when the H90 is bypassed. It’s the “AB Only” Bypass Mode: https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h90/1.9.7/content/system-menu/global.html
