        In program mode is it possible to switch between presets using MIDI CC ? I know incrementing up and down through presets is possible using midi cc but I want to be able to select a preset in program mode using midi in the same as I can using the foot switches. Thanks .. 🙏

          No. The H90 will only change Programs with program changes (PC) no matter what mode you’re in. You can also use a MIDI controller to increment, decrement, increment+load, decrement+load, bank up, bank down, active or bypass. In the System Menu > MIDI > MIDI-Global Control, you can assign CC# to each of these functions.

              btw: The PC commands for changing presets only work if I stay in Bank 1 and want to switch between presets.  There is no CC command for switching between presets – only CC commands for increment /decrement . Midi implementation in the H90 is useless for my requirements ..

                Please excuse my lapse in terms as I confused Presets with Programs; my fault. You are correct, there is no way to switch PRESETS via MIDI. It is best practice to create Programs with different presets as these will change seamlessly with spillover. But the work has to be done in advance of using MIDI.

                On the other hand, it is possible to changes presets using the front panel controls in real time or with H90 Control on iPad or your computer.

                  I’m having issues as well.  I have a fractal AM4 that I want to have the H90 switch presets when I select a scene.  i.e., Select AM4 Scene 1 -> H90 / User2 / Bank1/ Program x, likewise Select AM4 Scene 3 -> H90 / User2 / Bank1/ Program y

                  I want a dedicated preset for each of the scenes I have in the AM4.  As it stands now, having the H90 for a few days, I can’t get any midi switching of any kind to work.  I’m fairly familiar with midi as well.  Any help is appreciated.

                      Hello,

                      What have you tried so far?

                      You must first select your Playlist and then you can send PC messages from 0-99 to load the various Programs on that list.

                      As long as the H90 is set to the correct channel and you have connected the Fractal to the MIDI input, it will change Programs when it receives a PC message.

                      I’m not familiar with Scenes on the AM4 so I can’t offer any suggestions there. Have you used this device to send PC messages before?

                      With my Quad Cortex, changing scenes sends the PCx code and the H90 selects program x.
                      Unfortunately, it’s not possible to change the User List via MIDI, which is a shame!
