Octavox: automating snapshots in Ableton Live 12 not working

  Greetings,
  
  I’m trying to change snapshots of a preset in Octavox using an automation envelope in Ableton Live 12. It’s not working.
  
  I’m editing the Octavox/Snapshots envelope:
  
  The clip envelope starts and continues to play “current 8” for several measures:
  
  Then I want it to go to “current 5” and have set up the envelope accordingly:
  
  Seems straightforward. It doesn’t work.
  
  If I start the clip and Octavox is set to Current 8, that works, but when it is supposed to go to Current 5, it goes to Current 3. And if I’m looping this clip, when it goes to the beginning of the loop, it does not return to Current 8. It starts at Current 2. On the switch to Current 5, it goes back to Current 3.
  
  Perhaps I’m missing something. What am I doing wrong?
  
  This is on an M1 MacBook running Sequoia 15.5. Ableton Live 12.2.5b1. Just download and paid for Octavox. Can’t find the version number.

  Sorry for the issues you are having. I just recreated something similar to what you describe but I was not having any issues. When I loop the envelope automation in Live, it would always trigger the correct snapshot.
  
  Could you please email support@eventidaudio.com and send your Live session with the envelope automation? That would help us better to look into this. If you could also send a short screen recording that demonstrates the issue, that’d be helpful.

  I’ll email support after I successfully recreate this issue in a new Live set that I can send you.
  
  I’ll include my version of the preset in which I’ve overwritten the snapshots.

  I was not able to recreate the issue in a new Live set, so we’ll call it user error for now.
