I have a couple of requests for the engineers at Eventide. I hope they are well received:
- My H90 acts as a pedalboard router: it splits the pedalboard in two, with each half connected to one of the pedal’s “send/return” outputs. As such, I would like the pedal to have a per-program option to decide whether deactivating the program also deactivates the routing or not. Currently, pressing the button to deactivate the program also deactivates the routing. It would be nice to be able to decide whether pressing it only deactivates the H90‘s own effects.
- I’ve seen several comments from the community asking for “unusual” effects. I think the H90 is an incredibly powerful, well-assembled, well-designed, and well-executed device. It has all the effects you need as a guitarist, and they all sound great. And yet, more “interesting,” “ingenious,” and “novel” effects are sorely lacking. Chase Bliss presented Lost + Found the other day, and I thought it was really wild. Its “Sympathetic resonator” seems insanely good to me. Something with the charisma of a Lossy would be great to have. I know similar things can be found in the H90 by combining effects, but I don’t think there’s anything quite as genuinely eye-catching. I also expect those kinds of things from a brand’s flagship product. As a guitarist, I’m not particularly interested in all the new Harmonizer+ effects, but I understand that there is a larger audience that may demand them. There are other things that I know the community has been asking for for some time: preamps + cabinet simulators, EQ integrated into the program (so you don’t have to use one of the slots for it)… But for me, this is more important.
Thank you for reading this far. I hope you can take my words into consideration as much as possible. I hope you have a good week and a good summer.

Have you explored using the “AB Only” bypass mode in the Global system menu? With this configuration bypassing the Program will only bypass Presets A & B. The inserts will still be active.

We appreciate you taking the time to share what types of effects interest you. The future of H90 is bright, and I’m positive you’ll enjoy what’s ahead. Thank you for the feedback.

So glad to hear. That’s what I thought! Thanks for confirming.
