I’m new to Eventide and using the H9000 plugin in Logic Pro and MainStage for vocals.

I’m trying to get closer to the type of vocal sound Al Jourgensen used in Ministry. Think swirling, flanged, constantly moving vocals like Just One Fix. I’m able to get clarity and basic effects, but I’m missing that aggressive stereo motion and instability.

If you were starting from scratch with the H9000 plugin,

        • which algorithms would you explore first?

        • are there any presets or example routings I should study?

        • anything specific to watch out for in Logic or MainStage?

        Any beginner-friendly pointers appreciated.

If you open the preset browser in the plug-in, you can find categories by effect type. I’d suggest checking out “Filter Delays” or “Panning” as a starting point.

Nothing particular about your DAW that will make a difference when using the plug-in. You can experiment with using the effect as an insert or send/return effect depending on how you want to mix things.
