    Hi

Sorry, I did my best to explain the situation, but I will precise

“It sounds like you are currently using the MobileSheets app to control your pedals, correct?”

-> yes, opening a song triggers the MIDI configuration in the H90.

“But you are asking a question for how to send MIDI from the H90 to control the app. So are you trying to change the setup so the H90 controls the app instead of the app controlling the H90?”

-> I want to assign 2 switches (plugged in the H90) to turn the sheet music pages in MobileSheets. I need to send 2 MIDI commands, from these switches on the H90 (channel 5), to MobileSheets (channel 3). Sending a command, from the H90, with its own channel number as recipient’s channel, makes non sense !

“I’m not familiar with this app so I can’t provide much help with how to program MIDI from the app.”

-> the problem is not from MobileSheets (with channel 3) but in H90 (with channel 5), where I can’t find how the create a midi command with the recipient’s channel, in this case 3.

This is a very basic situation in Midi commands, in order to send them to the right device. You can understand that it would be inextricable if, in one setup, all the Midi commands have no recipient specified. Most devices have a Midi command list not editable by the user, and of course same command number for different actions.

“If you have an aux switch connected to the H90 and you would like to pass thru the aux switch as a MIDI CC message, you can find information for how to do that here (System > MIDI – Transmit): https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h90/1.9.7/content/system-menu/midi.html”

-> precisely, in the Transmit section, I can select the Sw number and a CC number, but how to send it to a specific device (= specific channel), as it is possible with all my other devices.

I fear this is a very very significant shortcoming in the H90 ; in that case, it would be great to fix in in the next update.

    Thanks
