So I’m set up with four cable method and want to try routing to an analog chorus pedal (mono).
In 1 and 3 and out 1 and 3 are already used for the four cable method.
From the manual it looks like can use in 4 and out 4 for send and return the chorus pedal. Reference is 3.2. Two Mono Inserts but only using one mono insert.
1. If I do this can I engage and disengage routing to the chorus pedal per preset?
2. And can I move it in position before or after H90 effects?
3. Additionally, if I want to send and return to two pedals, would I use in and out 2 along with the above configuration?

From the manual this is only possible in insert mode and not dual mode.
Am I reading right?

Hello Steve,
I’m going to assume you’re using Insert Mode where In 1 is for your pre signal and I/O 3 is connected to your send/return effect loop.
1. Yes, in this configuration you may activate the chorus pedal insert on a Program basis.
2. Yes, you are able to move the position of the chorus pedal insert on a Program basis as well.
3. No. I/O 2 would not be available because inserts can only be connected to I/O 3 & 4. Input 2 would only be available if you wanted to connected stereo sources to the H90.As to your follow-up question, correct. This configuration is only possible in Insert mode because Dual routing does not permit the use of inserts. You would have to hardware your chorus pedal to either the pre or post signal path.

Thanks so much for the detailed response. I’m in dual mode so I’ll just leave the chorus pedal hard wired pre the h90.
