        Hi All,

Does anyone know if force mono on H90 is exactly the same as setting it to auto with mono connection? Or is the signal still being processed in stereo and then summed? I am asking because I am slightly worried about these weird phasing thingy that could happen with summing.

Ofc this is assuming h90 does something different than just summing when it’s connected in mono.

For context, my use case is I want to switch between mono and stereo without unplugging.

        Thanks for any input!

Force mono does sum because we preserve the stereo input (assuming both inputs 1 & 2 are connected). The signal is processed in stereo, and the output is summed to mono at a point determined by the current Program routing. The algorithms handle the summing at the appropriate point for the given routing. Our algs are designed to handle Stereo In -> Mono Out, so it’s a bit more elegant than a simple sum in most cases.
