Hello!
As its written in the Timefactor Description and Advertisment:
“The Eventide TimeFactor Looper provides 12 seconds of mono recording at full audio quality. This is the maximum duration for high-fidelity playback.”
Could somebody please explain me what is meant bei “full audio quality”?
12 seconds refers to 1x speed.
So if 1x speed is full audio quality, what is the quality at 2x speed (6 seconds)?
None of my looped Timefactor recordings sound like the original at 1x speed, but they sound very accurate at 2x speed and high-fidelity.
Therefore, it is misleading to claim that Timefactor records 12 seconds in full audio quality or high fidelity.
High fidelity would mean that it records and reproduces everything up to 20 kHz. However, according to my measurements, everything above 10 kHz is cut off at 1x speed. I also tried the TF Looper in my H9: same result.
I would appreciate an explanation. If I am doing something wrong or misunderstanding TF specifications, please correct my assumptions.
