        Firmware 5.2.0[6]

        Hi,

I have connected a single footswitch (Roland DP 2) to the aux input and assigned it to looper record (“REC < RNG”). It works fine, except when using dub mode “punch” I get just a very short blip of recording when I first press the pedal, instead of recording for as long as the pedal is pressed.

When connecting this same footswitch via one channel of a stereo splitter cable, the looper responds on pedal release instead of onset.

I also tried with another simple switch (just a homemade thing of a switch on a mono jack) plugged directly into the aux port. In that case the looper responds on release, and in punch mode gives just a short blip (also on release).

        So I’m wondering:
        1. is the intended behaviour for the tf to respond to aux switches on the onset or release of a button press? (on release would be different from the built-in buttons and obviously incompatible with punch-in type operation)
        2. could looper punch-in via an aux switch be fixed?
