Why can’t the H90 firmware be updated using H90 Control on an ipad? It seems like that would be at least one of it’s primary functions.
If the user is going to be required to use an app to update a device maybe it should work across all platforms. I understand that there is a limit
on how far back one can keep supporting older operating systems. All the more reason to have a couple of options for updating firmware. Sometimes
it isn’t feasible to update the computer OS or buy a new computer. I updated a synth recently by downloading sysex file and transferring that from the
computer to the device. It was easy, quick, and independent of the brand or OS of the computer. Maybe there are plans to add the ability to update the H90
via the IOS version of H90 Control.
