I have a few ideas that I’ve yet to confirm. Are you absolutely locked into using Tap? I do think there are ways to achieve this with Tap, but I have some other approaches in mind as well.
Also, since it’s a ‘Roland Space Echo’-style emulation, are you looking to stay with a tape effect? When I read “pitch rises continuously with the number of oscillating repetitions”, I immediately thought of a Crystals type of effect, including the new Cosmic Web granular. That would be more of an ‘automatic’ rise or fall in pitch.
