We are happy to announce a new version of our Eventide Control app.
Release notes:
- Add HotSwitch mapping edit modes
- Add Algorithm and Preset selection popup menus to the Preset header
- Use “.preset9” file extension for H9 Gen 2 exported Presets
- Use “.lst9” file extension for H9 Gen 2 exported Lists
- Use “.h9” file extension for H9 Gen 2 backups
- Allow the Preset Library to be sorted by Use Count
- Display asterisk in Preset header to indicate that the Preset has unsaved changes
- Fix some issues related to filtering the Library by Algorithm and Effect Type
- Fixed a number of dialog and help text inaccuracies
Please use the app to update your new H9 Harmonizer Gen 2 to the latest firmware and enable the following features:
- Tuner
- Routing Modes
- Global MIDI and external controllers
- New User/Factory 1.1 list containing 99 additional presets for bass, looping, various routing modes, and more
Update instructions:
- Download Eventide Control 2.1.8
- Log in to your Eventide account (if you don’t have an Eventide account, you will be prompted to create one).
- Click Add Device in the top right corner and select your H9.
- You will be prompted to register the H9 to your Eventide account, click “Yes”.
- Click the cloud icon to access the update menu.
- Select the 1.1.7 firmware, and click “Install”.
- Your H9 firmware is now up to date!
