Hi there, I’m a long time user of the H90. The main thing I use is an Instant Flanger preset for a lot of my core sounds in the band I’m in. I bought an H9 Gen2 for a smaller board mostly to use that preset. My Instant Flanger preset on the H90 has the Program Mix at about 60% as the Instant Flanger doesn’t have a mix control itself, today I discovered the H9 Gen2 doesn’t have a Program Mix (no programs) so there’s no way to recreate this sound I need perfectly.

Is there a way to do this I’m not aware of?

        Thanks very much

          Taken from the manual:
“Instant Flanger – Depth: Controls the mix of wet and dry signals. At 0% the output is solely the wet signal. At 100% the output is the sum of the wet and dry signals. At −100% the output is the sum of the wet signal and the inverted dry signal.”

“Mix” is simply called “Depth” in this algorithm. Does that help?

Thanks, why the manual says “depth” is “mix”, it’s not the same as at 0 depth you get what’s essentially a pitch vibrato (“soley the wet”) while at 100% it’s equal parts which is very intense. On H90 I can then blend in more of my dry with the program mix to alter the intensity. Make sense?

            Thanks

Hi there, this isn’t possible on the H9 Harmonizer Gen 2 since there is no Program level mix.

Thanks for the reply. Given most of the other H90 parameters are available under “General” settings in the H9 gen2 is it worth submitting a feature request to add “Mix” there or is a non-starter? Thanks.

Sorry it’s not likely this will change since the architecture of the H90 and H9 are not the same.

The Program level controls are needed on the H90 since there are 2 presets contained. This also happens to give you an extra wet/dry control for certain algorithms/presets where that is not present.
