Hello! I have two questions about the tap tempo functionality:
Is it possible to set it up so that in Perform mode I can always dedicate one of the switches to always blink/show the tempo even if the preset doesn’t use tap tempo? I have some other delays in my pedalboard that I have to manually tap between songs and I’d love to always have the LED blink to the current MIDI tempo even if the preset doesn’t use Tap Tempo. Currently if my preset isn’t BPM synced or is something like a Drive it is unable to show what it’s receiving from MIDI.
Is it possible to override the MIDI tempo in a preset with manually tapping? I have had pedals that will match a MIDI tempo if one is detected but also lets me change it with a manual tap if there isn’t a MIDI tempo being synced.
Thanks!

You will only see the BPM readout and LED flashing in time with the H9 Tempo if you have Tempo Sync ON. You can turn Tempo Sync ON for any Algorithm/Preset (even non time based effects like distortion) and assign one of the footswitches to TAP to see the BPM readout and LED flashing in time.
Please view this section of the manual for how to assigned TAP to a footswitch: https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h9/1.2.2/en/content/play-modes/perform.html#assign-to-footswitches

No, this is not possible.
