This sort of nomenclature was confusing me: 1/3 + 50%. In my mind, that is mathematically 1/3 + 1/2 = 5/6

I think what Eventide really means: 1/3 + (50% of one-third). Which is 2/6 + 1/6 = 3/6 = 1/2
