IMHO there are three things to know:  Like all Strymon pedals of the last 10 years or so:

1.  It sounds great.   It’s a little broader than HeadSpace because it specifically covers rotating drums as well as tapes, but in Tape Mode it (not surprisingly) sound quite similar to HeadSpace.

2.  It is laid out very intuitively with many controls (again, not surprisingly) that parallel those in HeadSpace.  It took me some time, but you’d get “it” instantly.   One control that is different is the “Head Spacing” control that morphs between even, triplet, golden ratio, and silver ratio repeat patterns.  That’s pretty convenient.

3.  YouTube is flooded with informative demo videos.  This has really facilitated my understanding of HeadSpace.
