Using the H90 as an a/b box, is it possible to record into the looper and have it play thru the B amp then solo on the A amp?

My current set up is an  A/B box with a looper on the B side.   I record a loop and have it play and the B amp then switch to the A amp to solo over the loop.

Yes, this is possible using the H90’s insert paths.

It is similar to the setup diagram described here: https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h90/1.9.7/content/setup/wet-dry.html

If you route the algorithms in parallel and place the insert after the looper, only the Looper will go out of output 3 and your guitar (plus another effect) will go out of output 1.

Can reverb/delay be added to the looper in this configuration?

Yes, but you’ll need to choose whether you want the effects to be after the Looper, or have no effects after the Looper and applied to your non-Looped guitar.

Just to make sure I understand correctly in this config my choices are.

                1)  Looper with Delay but no delay on non-Looped guitar

                OR

                2) Looper with no delay but delay on non-Looped guitar

                Thanks!

Yes, since the H90 runs two algorithms you get a Looper + whatever additional effect you want. You can route the FX to be after the looper, or after your non-Looped guitar.

I should also note that this is all configurable per Program, so it is very easy to have 1 setup with FX after your Looper, and a different setup with FX on your non-Looped guitar. You can change between the setups by just loading a different Program.
