Could someone give me some advice on how to properly wire up this whole rig:

        guitar
        fuzz
        overdrive
        noise gate: Citadel Dynazero
        Eventide H90
        looper: VLP200
        Roland JC-40
So far I’ve tried following schema #1 below, but it seems unnecessarily overcomplicated and the routing in the H90 is wrong. When I checked the diagrams provided by Citadel, they recommend setting up all spatial/time-based effects according to schema #2.

        I care about 3 things:

        1. cutting out guitar noise
        2. cutting out the Roland’s noise
        3. letting the A+B delays from the H90 decay naturally without feeding back into the noise gate.

The 2nd diagram looks like a good option considering your 3 key points, have you tried that yet?

not yet, i will try in the evening. at the end i think both schema is correct. only difference is that on second schema i have to put both FX block on one path (1) and maybe on first schema I have both paths available, and I can freely place FX blocks on path (1) or (2) parallel or series… Maybe… ?!?

Yes, with the first diagram you can use Pre/Post routing, but as you mentioned it makes the signal flow more complicated.

Note that you must enable Dual Mode for Pre/Post routing to work.

If you want to try that, I would suggest you first follow this setup guide without adding any of the additional FX processors or noise gate. Once you have that working, try adding the other devices one at a time to the signal flow. https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h90/1.9.7/content/setup/pre-post.html

so when it comes to noise concerns, I generally think of power, for me I use a Furman 215a for my rig, nothing gets plugged into power before this unit! also use a Cioks PSU for the rest of my pedalboard power needs.
As far as the signal chain is concerned, Guitar > Noise Gate > Drive Pedal > H90 (insert1) then have the H90 use amps external effects loop, but if me, I think Id try a few configurations before settling in on one.

My rig is much simpler Guitar > Tonex One > H90 (Insert) > H90 stereo out to two EVPMX12MP’s, this allows me routing flexibility in the H90…

                Cheers mate…
