The original H910/949 boxes (from the late 1970s) did the pitch shift as a ratio. We kept it that way in our modeling of those boxes to stay true to their original form and function.
You might get close to angelic echoes with Shimmer, but that is one that we were thinking of doing a new algorithm for.
