Someone explain to me why the bitrate of 12 is inherently noisier than 16? The bit rate should be more attributable to dynamic range I would think. *AND* if you are going to have noise, at least gate it somehow. My tonefactor hisses even when I am not playing! I guess it's that 12 bit silence.
