I'm glad to hear that you've been having a good time using H9 Control.
We'll probably change the behavior of the save button in a future release so that it asks you whether you want to save your changes to the local harddrive or a connected H9. That would prevent this sort of confusion and would be consistent with the way that the save button works in the preset screen.
