If you press the left footswitch during recording, it will go to the Playing State (always). It will also go to the Playing State if the recording reaches the Max Length. Any Left Footswitch press from the Playing State will put the Looper in the Dubbing State.
Currently there is no way to set it to go to either Play or Dub after a Record. The only way to go to Dubbing from Recording on the H9 Footswitches is through the Play State. However, an External Aux Switch or MIDI CC programmed for the REC trigger will, when pressed, transition from Record straight to Dubbing.
