I don't think I understand the problem. Perhaps you could make a diagram showing your set-up? From what you've written so far, I am imagining that you have a FCB-1010 which is not connected to the H9 or your computer at all via MIDI, and you are either pressing its footswitches or using its expression pedal. And then, H9 Control is crashing, even though its not connected to the FCB-1010 at all.
