Yes, it is true that we could add further parameters for the Structural Split section – the four current ones were chosen because they are relatively straightforward, but still provide lots of flexibility.
I think you'll find you can get quite significantly modified sounds by solo-ing either the Transient or Tonal streams, or by using the gain controls on either stream, in conjunction with the split controls. You won't hear any difference from the main signal if you don't have any effects on, and the gain in Transient and Tonal is the same.
Note that you can compare the difference of the split vs. just a simple mixer by using the On/Off button in the Structural Split section.
