I think quality-wise it is comparable.. but from a practical, user-interface perspective… I can only imagine you would be better served by VST effects.
Like- if you are going to record vocals.. You probably should be adding time-based effects in post… in which case you are running an effects loop through this, and using the Ios interface for settings? Doable.. but unusual. And why? It is not superior to VST effects in quality, and way inferior in interface. .. and so many AD conversions.. and it is nothing I would allow in my studio 🙂
