I'm guessing you have a connection or cable issue. Try plugging the guitar directly into the H9 – I suspect that you will get some activity.
If (which is not always the case) I am right, your problem is elsewhere. Try following the signal route and swap cables where possible. You may need to call Sherlock Holmes.
