Having the same issue, but with pretty much everything Eventide! All of the Eventide plugins get blacklisted when first scanned by Cubase (Pro 10.0.30) and, if forced to be accepted, both Blackhold and E3000 Factory cause Cubase to crash!
If I run Cubase as administrator (not something I should need to do in 2019) forcing a scan of the plugins, then it seems to fix this problem, but I don’t know what other issues (or risks) this may introduce. However, this does seem to then allow Cubase to work running normally – so maybe a work around until Eventide fix this issue.
