Have you tried updating with the Eventide Direct Updater? It can be downloaded here: https://www.eventideaudio.com/downloads/?product=Space
Similarly, you’ll need to boot your pedal to the UPDATE mode to do the update. If you see –INVALID–, you should still be able to pick the latest version of the software and install that. Let me know if that works.
