Consider also that these behaviors are not present in other plugins which communicate with hardware, such as Universal Audio’s UAD products and the (now-orphaned) TC Electronic Powercore and Access Virus TI plugins.
One company is dealing with an issue now rendering their entire plugin suite nearly unusable (not to mention many Console problems that have been fixed and apollo driver issues) and the other is completely out of the rackmount processing game, relegated to mostly low budget guitar pedals.
Lets not act like Eventide is the only company that can use some improvement on bug squashing. Being fair, both UA and Eventide make fantastic product but to use UA as an example of keeping the wheels spinning is laughable.
