That is correct. Only CC messages 1-4 are mapped directly within the plug-in. You can map any parameter to the Ribbon Controller, and this allows you to assign any or many parameters to CC 1. Otherwise, you can configure the MIDI mappings in your DAW, for example, Ableton Live allows you to map a MIDI controller to any parameter.
